Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ability to strategically position and pitch the full suite of Thomas Digital Products
- Maintain a high level and focus on consultative solution-based selling of our highest value products and services
- Heavily self-sufficient in initiating, identifying, prospecting and targeting new leads
- Manage a book of existing business while driving the majority of business through customer retention and upsell opportunities
- Proactively communicate with clients and accounts to ensure satisfaction with Thomasnet programs and solutions on a regular cadence
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to document and track customer projects, and work with internal and external stakeholders
- Schedule quarterly and monthly business reviews with key account stakeholders to review account performance and ongoing strategy
Requirements
- 3-4+ years experience in a direct account executive or indirect sales role (B2B sales experience is preferred); or equivalent relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Passionate about sales, providing best-in-class solutions, and has a strong track record of growth and delivering and achieving results
- Self-starter mindset with an inquisitive approach and ability to sell complex solutions
- Proficient project management and time management skills
- Strong ability to work with a high-level of autonomy and self-direction
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (both written and verbal)
- Highly proficient CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems
- Expert in programs such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting
- Understand how technology products and services and solutions can solve business problems

Pay
The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $65,000-67,500 annually + commission depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
Schedule
We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate travel requirements of 10-20%.
