Position Overview

The Account Executive is responsible for managing the sales process from product demonstration through close for qualified opportunities generated by STACK’s Business Development team. This role engages prospective customers, conducts live demonstrations of STACK’s cloud-based takeoff and estimating platform, and guides customers through the evaluation and purchasing process.

Essential Performance Responsibilities And Expectations

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales, customer adoption, and revenue goals established by Sales Leadership.
  • Provide online product demonstrations and sales activities to support pipeline growth, customer education, and business development objectives.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with prospective and existing customers through a variety of channels, including phone calls, virtual demonstrations and meetings, online chat platforms, and email and text communication.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by proactively identifying opportunities to improve product usage, customer outcomes, retention, and long-term success.
  • Respond to customer questions, concerns, and ongoing support needs while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Proactively identify upsell, expansion, and account growth opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, customer engagement, and sales opportunities within Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate STACK’s product functionality, implementation processes, and best practices to prospective and existing customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer acquisition, onboarding, retention, and overall customer success.
  • Monitor customer engagement and provide guidance to help maximize product value, adoption, and customer outcomes.
  • Adapt successfully in a fast-paced, evolving environment by embracing change, learning new tools and processes, and supporting customers through product updates and enhancements.
  • Consistently contribute to a positive, professional, and high-performing team environment.

Required Experience, Knowledge And Characteristic Attributes

  • Must have demonstrated experience, knowledge, and characteristic attributes in the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous sales, account management, or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Construction industry experience is a plus
  • Experience conducting presentations, product demonstrations, or virtual meetings preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to manage multiple software platforms simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
  • Desire to provide quality internal and external customer service while protecting the interests of STACK
  • Desire to contribute to a collaborative and high-functioning team environment

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance (medical, dental & vision), life insurance, 401(k) & paid time off. The expected compensation range for this position is about $120-$180k OTE USD. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
