About the role

As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and medication management.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Help patients with meal preparation and nutrition
• Monitor patients’ health conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a background check

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Patience and empathy

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• First aid/cpr certification (optional but preferred)
