Human Interest is a high-growth fintech company focused on making retirement savings accessible for small and medium-sized businesses. We provide a platform that empowers employees to save for their future.

Responsibilities

  • Work full cycle deals from demo complete to close.
  • Research and target companies using prospecting tools.
  • Build and manage a pipeline.
  • Demonstrate our platform to new prospective customers.
  • Negotiate contracts.
  • Record and document all sales activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Successfully utilize all sales tech tools.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of work experience in a sales role, preferably at a startup.
  • A demonstrated track record of exceeding your quota.
  • Love closing deals and helping businesses by delivering a product that has concrete value.
  • Solutions-oriented, recognizing objections and helping customers see value in our product.
  • Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills, trusted by clients.
  • Experience working with high-velocity sales cycles or selling to small businesses.
  • Resilient, bouncing back from setbacks quickly, resourceful, and finding creative ways to get things done.
  • Comfortable with a wide range of sales tools, including Salesforce or other CRMs.
  • A passion for solving big problems and having an immediate and positive impact.
  • The ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable.
  • The ability to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations.
  • Must be located in Mountain or Pacific time zone.

Pay

The total On Target Earnings (OTE) for the role is $150,000 - $155,000, which includes a base salary of $77,500 and a variable target compensation of $77,500. The specific pay rate offered is based on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
