About the role

We are seeking an Account Executive to join our team. This role will focus on selling Cognizant’s services and solutions to major accounts within the Consumer Goods industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience selling consulting services and 7 years' experience working for a Global Consulting Firm.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue 12-20 major Consumer Goods accounts
  • Set the sales strategy and develop/nurture client relationships
  • Drive growth through hunting new opportunities
  • Manage client relationships and opportunities
  • Work with a client partner and team to support all Sales pursuits
  • Support targeted marketing into designated accounts with an offshore team

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling consulting services
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience working for a Global Consulting Firm, Onshore/Offshore sales with minimum of $4M annual quota
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling similar Service Offerings into Consumer Goods pursuits
  • Demonstrated success selling deals in the $5 to $50M range selling into Consumer Goods clients
  • Demonstrated consecutive quarterly and yearly quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a solution selling model
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with advanced degree (MBA or Masters) preferred
  • Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts and to lead/manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage and maintain all facets of complex assignments
  • Proven ability to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications
  • Flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries, and technical/non-technical audiences

Pay

The annual base salary for this position is between $190,000 - $210,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s quarterly commissions plan based on TCV sales, including annual stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is not specified, but candidates should live on the west coast and central time zones.
