About the role
Affinity Group is seeking a motivated Account Executive to represent leading food brands in the Iowa market. The ideal candidate will build relationships, deliver value, and showcase products at food shows and seminars.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute impactful events to showcase client offerings
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders through consistent communication
- Grow sales with distributors, merchandisers & buyers while building lasting client relationships
- Lead consultative sales presentations to distributors, merchandisers, buyers, and their sales teams
- Independently manage the full sales cycle, leveraging CRM tools for data accuracy and workflow efficiency
- Leverage critical thinking to guide prospects toward successful purchasing decisions
Requirements
- 3-5 years of foodservice sales or distribution sales experience
- Restaurant operations or culinary experience is a plus
- Strong communication & organization skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Active Driver’s License and clean driving record
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- CRM systems experience

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM. During the food trade show season, the position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs. Driving required for daily motor vehicle travel to assigned locations.
