Account Executive - Enterprise
About Dome Software
Dome Software is transitioning from deterministic to probabilistic approaches in their tools for controlling access. Traditional tools like API gateways, RBAC, and network policies were designed for predictable interactions. However, AI agents often interact in unpredictable ways, leading to governance challenges.
Role
We are hiring an early Enterprise Account Executive. Your responsibilities include running the full sales cycle from discovery through to contract signing, focusing on platform and security teams at F2000 enterprises and large digital-native companies. This role involves technical consultations and navigating up to VP and CISO-level approvals.
What You'll Do
- Run full-cycle enterprise sales: discovery, technical evaluation, procurement, and close, often involving multi-stakeholder buying committees including platform engineering, security, and finance.
- Sell into Dome's primary entry point—platform and security teams building internal AI infrastructure—and assist in securing VP and CISO-level approvals when necessary.
- Partner with product and engineering teams during technical evaluations, addressing specific architecture questions or bringing in the right experts.
- Build qualification and forecasting discipline, learning from each deal to refine your approach and inform future sales strategies.
- Work closely with the founders on positioning, pricing, and deal strategy, helping to design the sales process.
- Represent Dome at industry conferences, communities, and forums where platform and security engineers gather.
What We're Looking For
- Five or more years of full-cycle enterprise software sales, preferably in infrastructure, security, developer tools, or platform categories.
- A proven track record of closing deals with multi-stakeholder enterprise buying committees, not just single-threaded sales.
- Experience selling to platform engineering or security teams.
- Genuine curiosity about the technology and a bias toward building systems rather than hitting targets.
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup (seed to Series B) is a strong plus.
How We Work
- Hire curious and productive individuals who can work independently and collaboratively.
- Trust employees to work remotely and provide context rather than detailed instructions.
- Meet in person for team-building, deal strategy, and moments that benefit from face-to-face interaction.
- Set high standards while maintaining a relaxed, no-formality culture.
Why Now
We are early in our development, offering significant ownership over how we sell our products. If you want to shape a new category rather than follow a traditional playbook, this role is ideal.
