Account Executive (Cox Media)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your team to strategize, grow and manage your book of business, build lasting client partnerships, and prospect new opportunities.
- Partner with existing clients to optimize digital advertising strategies and amplify the impact of Cox Media's solutions.
- Cultivate new business while deepening relationships with existing clients through proactive outreach and upselling to drive incremental revenue.
- Sell customized advertising solutions across Cox Media's multichannel portfolio, including TV, digital video, streaming, display, social media, and paid search.
- Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and sustained revenue growth.
- Champion Cox Media's advertising solutions by educating clients on how data-driven strategies can elevate their brand and deliver measurable results.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly showcase the value and impact of Cox Media's advertising solutions.
- Build and grow an expansive book of business through strategic prospecting-including cold calling, door-to-door outreach, and lead generation-combined with consultative account management.
- Persistently maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications in CRM systems.
- Represent Cox Media with professionalism and energy-whether managing accounts in the office or prospecting in the field.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, and represent Cox Media within the local community to generate leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field. Alternatively, a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience, or 6 years of experience in a related field.
- Proven success in sales or business development, including identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to close deals and foster long-term partnerships.
- Ability to use data to develop and sell effective media strategies.
- Skilled at presenting complex solutions in a clear, easy-to-understand manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high levels of client relationships and business excellence.
- A valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.

Pay
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $29,300.00 - $43,900.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $43,900.00 - $65,900.00.
