Account Executive, Construction Insurance
About the role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh as an Account Executive supporting our Commercial Property & Casualty clients in the Construction practice. This role may be based on the East Coast or in the Central U.S. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work at least three days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes detailed risk expertise to perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across product lines.
- Maintains the retention of business and generates new business.
- Helps establish the growth and retention strategy for account team and monitors implementation.
- Serves as a client contact and responds to more complex client needs and questions to improve the client experience.
- Serves as a thought leader within the organization and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of commercial construction P&C experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- P&C license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
- Working knowledge of insurance coverages required.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- CPCU, ARM or other insurance designations a plus.
- Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.

All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $78,900 to $168,100. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
