Responsibilities
- Win new business and drive revenue for Cursor. Identify key decision-makers at prospective customers, educate them on AI-powered development, and support their success.
- Become a trusted product expert; guide prospects through trials, evaluations, and deployments.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline, meeting and exceeding quarterly targets.
- Lead multi-threaded sales cycles across various departments including Engineering, Product, Security, Procurement, and Legal.
- Develop executive relationships and champion accounts at each level.
- Quantify value with clear Return on Investment (ROI) cases tied to developer productivity and AI adoption.
- Design and execute innovative sales strategies; analyze market trends and translate high-level plans into targeted activities and campaigns.
- Be the voice of the customer and influence the product roadmap with actionable feedback.
- Continuously refine the sales methodology by incorporating learnings into playbooks, templates, and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of closing experience in tech sales, preferably in developer tools, technical SaaS, or emerging technologies.
- A consistent track record of landing new logos and exceeding quota while managing a high velocity of deals.
- A proactive approach to building pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting, creative sourcing, and relentless follow-up.
- Comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and selling to technical stakeholders, from individual contributors to CTOs.
- An analytical approach to understanding customer needs combined with creative, tactical follow-through to advance opportunities.
- A knack for bringing order to chaos and a genuine "roll up your sleeves" mentality.
- An excellent communicator who can present confidently and build trust across all levels of an organization.
- A passion for AI and excitement about transforming how software gets written.

Pay
- Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
