About the role
The Account Executive role is central to bringing Xapien's value to organizations that need it most. This role focuses on identifying the right prospects, building trust, and closing meaningful deals.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of an individual revenue quota, with a focus on new business acquisition and early-stage account expansion
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle across a defined territory or vertical, from first engagement through to signed contract
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities, proactively sourcing new prospects through outbound activity, inbound leads, and your own network
- Run structured discovery, demonstration, and commercial conversations with senior stakeholders across legal, compliance, risk, and operations functions
- Own accurate pipeline management and revenue forecasting, ensuring all opportunities are consistently tracked and up to date in Xapien's CRM
- Develop a deep understanding of each prospect's business challenges, buying process, and decision-making landscape
- Collaborate with the Solutions team to deliver tailored product demonstrations and respond effectively to technical and commercial due diligence
- Closely coordinate with Marketing to engage with campaigns, events, and demand generation initiatives that support pipeline growth
- Coordinate with the Partnerships team to progress any partner-influenced or co-sell opportunities within your territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify expansion opportunities and support successful renewals
- Provide regular field insight on buyer sentiment, competitive dynamics, and market positioning to inform broader go-to-market strategy
Requirements
- Proven experience in a B2B SaaS sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Comfortable owning and managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close
- A strong understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead commercial conversations at all levels
- A consultative, solution-oriented approach to selling — focused on outcomes, not features
- Structured and disciplined in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where processes continue to evolve
- Experience in due diligence, risk, compliance, SaaS, or data-led solutions is a strong advantage
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CRM systems
