About the role
The University of Oklahoma's Division of Marketing and Communications seeks a customer-oriented account executive to join a dynamic team committed to advancing the university's mission and strategic plan through authentic, compelling content.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside clients to meet their needs efficiently and strategically.
- Showcase the university's excellence and global impact through effective communication.
- Use professionalism in customer service, problem solving, presentation, organization, and planning.
- Maintain relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field.
- 4 years of marketing, public relations, communications or related experience.
- Equivalency/Substitution: Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- A one-to-one ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in strategic communications or marketing or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge, skill, and understanding of position requirements.
- 3-5 years of customer service experience, including time spent in direct account/client management.
- Professional agency experience.
- Impeccable written and oral communication skills.
- Client service oriented.
- Excels in managing relationships.
- Highly organized and experience in robust project management software.
- Ability to strategically think in both communication and process.
- Team player with initiative and enthusiasm.
- Experience in project management.
- Desire to gain professional development opportunities.
- Strong work ethic, adaptability and flexibility in handling various clients' needs.
- Analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills.
- Desire to learn new skills and create processes.
