Account Executive

About the role

The University of Oklahoma's Division of Marketing and Communications seeks a customer-oriented account executive to join a dynamic team committed to advancing the university's mission and strategic plan through authentic, compelling content.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside clients to meet their needs efficiently and strategically.
• Showcase the university's excellence and global impact through effective communication.
• Use professionalism in customer service, problem solving, presentation, organization, and planning.
• Maintain relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field.
• 4 years of marketing, public relations, communications or related experience.
• Equivalency/Substitution: Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
• A one-to-one ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in strategic communications or marketing or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge, skill, and understanding of position requirements.
• 3-5 years of customer service experience, including time spent in direct account/client management.
• Professional agency experience.
• Impeccable written and oral communication skills.
• Client service oriented.
• Excels in managing relationships.
• Highly organized and experience in robust project management software.
• Ability to strategically think in both communication and process.
• Team player with initiative and enthusiasm.
• Experience in project management.
• Desire to gain professional development opportunities.
• Strong work ethic, adaptability and flexibility in handling various clients' needs.
• Analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills.
• Desire to learn new skills and create processes.

Pay Range: Targeting salary $60,400 annually, based on experience
