About the role

Secure Yeti is seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, compliance, policy and compliance, security architecture, strategic support, threat intelligence and detection, incident response and recovery, and education and training.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in client systems.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments to ensure systems meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain compliance strategies to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement security architectures that protect client networks and data.
  • Provide strategic support to clients in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence to detect potential security incidents and respond effectively.
  • Train clients and internal staff on best practices for maintaining cybersecurity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of successful penetration testing and vulnerability assessment projects.
  • Experience with security architecture design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and GDPR.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • CISSP certification preferred.
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms and SIEM tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with incident response and crisis management.

Skills

  • Proficient in Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
  • Experience with network protocols and operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
