Essential duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop and implement different sales activities by researching the customer's needs and requirements.
- Maintain and acquire new clients while ensuring all sales and marketing activities are within budget, volume, sales, and time scales.
- Tackle issues affecting export procedures and activities, and develop constructive solutions.
- Review and monitor distributor performance to provide relevant information to management.
- Attend meetings with other companies to negotiate and assist in the overall growth and development of the business organization.
- Conduct market research, surveys, and analyze competitors' marketing and sales strategies.
- Create new plans to gain a competitive edge by prioritizing target countries.
- Negotiate sales, pricing, and terms with assigned and new customers.
- Analyze product purchasing options, including best market pricing and supplier compliance.
- Participate in training sessions to improve knowledge and skills.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers at target accounts.
- Be responsible for all sales results at assigned and targeted accounts.
- Manage all A/R collections in each assigned account.
- Manage pricing and margins within assigned accounts.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions.
- Bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish preferred
- Financial / business analytical skills
- Computer skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AS 400
- Category and product knowledge
- Negotiation skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Pricing (cost to retail) skills
