Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Create customized marketing solutions using WOOD TV8’s full suite of offerings.
- Proactively develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients using a wide range of resources and research tools.
- Engage potential clients through strategic outreach efforts, including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn networking, and in-person meetings.
- Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities and performance metrics.
- Support station and corporate initiatives and contribute to overall success by performing additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- College degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in media or professional sales, with a passion for customer-based solutions.
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities across both linear and non-linear platforms.
- Comfortable reaching out to and engaging directly with business owners, proprietors, and community leaders.
- Strong organizational, writing, proposal building, and presentation skills.
- Energetic self-starter, team-oriented, and focused on maintaining positive momentum.
- Quick adaptation of new tools, technology, and processes.
- Quick thinker, able to ask and answer questions with ease.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
