About the role
The Account Executive is responsible for supporting the Account Supervisor and Senior Management in the overall growth-oriented stewardship of client marketing goals. They are also responsible for the day-to-day implementation or execution of the accounts' advertising plan, building and upholding relationships with clients, and ensuring the agency manages these relationships at a profitable level.
Responsibilities
- Support the Account Supervisor and Senior Management in overall growth-oriented stewardship of client marketing goals
- Be responsible for the day-to-day implementation or execution of the accounts' advertising plan
- Handle clients' business properly, professionally, and efficiently
- Build and uphold the relationship between the clients/prospective clients and agency to increase and deepen the relationship
- Ensure that the agency manages the relationship at a profitable level
- Provide the necessary support to the Account team in the oversight of financial reports, marketing budgets, utilization analysis and competitive research
- Understand and contribute to improvement of agency and client procedures to maximize efficiency and communication flow
- Manage integrated Hispanic marketing campaigns
- Analyze business and brand performance, design and implement brand strategies, business initiatives, and research and media recommendations to present to client
- Interact with all areas within the agency to drive client projects in a timely and cost efficient manner
- Manage and track projects through agency monitoring protocols and maintains deadlines
- Help identify potential opportunities within existing client relationships to identify and activate new revenue streams
- Deepen client relationships and generally service client needs with the highest level of excellence and professionalism
- Acts as agency representative to client and primary point of contact for specific day-to-day client requests
- Prepares conference reports, responds to client requests, as well as generates estimates and timelines within 24 hours
- Maintains favorable relationship with client while striving to improve service, identifying strategic and relevant insights, and developing strong knowledge of client business and challenges
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously and engages appropriate agency resources as deemed necessary
- Tracks workflow and coordinates cross-functional agency resources including media, production, creative, research and traffic to ensure that all jobs and projects are managed within protocols, timelines and budgets
- Works with senior team members to write effective creative strategies and briefs based upon consumer insights, client objectives and competitive landscape
- Reviews and evaluates all creative and media plans and accepts accountability for materials delivered to client
- Continuously seeks to improve knowledge and skills through available reading, education and seminars
- Maintains files in an organized and orderly fashion
- Participates in agency and client meetings with thoughtful contribution to topics of discussion
- Manages and mentor Account Coordinator(s) as required
- Supports brand leadership peers and supervisors as necessary
Requirements
- Preferably bilingual. Fluent in English & Proficient/Fluent Spanish (comprehension, verbal and written) a big plus
- College Degree and experience in (Hispanic) advertising or related field strongly preferred
- Familiarity with industry concepts, practices, and procedures
- Experience with various media types preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated success marketing-related assignments
- Proactive, results-oriented and strong problem-solving abilities required
- Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-moving environment
- Experience in banking or food service industries a plus
- Computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Teams
