JOB SUMMARY
The Account Executive will partner with Project Managers and the Design & Engineering teams to streamline project management and drive new business opportunities. To excel, the role demands exceeding sales targets, staying updated on industry trends, and providing outstanding customer service to build lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail and proficiency with Asana and other Project Management tools to ensure seamless operations and effective support client portfolios. This role demands exceptional communication abilities, the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the trade show and exhibit services space.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailor-made solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiating terms to close deals effectively.
- Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure client requirements are met with high-quality standards.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to recommend strategies for continued growth.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Be able to travel up to 75% with overnight stay.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Proven sales experience, ideally within the exhibits, events, or related industries.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
- A driven, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving sales goals.
