At MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, we make buildings work better. We are the Northwest's leading mechanical contracting firm, providing HVAC, plumbing, and automation system solutions for commercial buildings. Our diverse workforce, spanning 14 offices, offers a range of projects from new construction to retrofits and service.

Responsibilities

  • Form in-depth partnerships with customers to provide tailored solutions for maximum comfort and efficiency in their buildings.
  • Handle projects requiring ongoing HVAC maintenance contracts or quick-turnaround tenant improvements in the Service Special Projects Department.
  • Build and grow the region's portfolio by developing strong relationships and pursuing retrofit and tenant improvement opportunities.
  • Generate approximately $1.5M-$2.5M in sold project revenue in your first year, depending on experience and market activity.
  • Establish a qualified pipeline that positions you for $4M+ in annual revenue as you continue to grow in year two and beyond.
  • Collaborate closely with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-value proposals and maintain strong close ratios.
  • Perform project management duties, including effective cost and risk management, quality assurance, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or related technical fields.
  • A proven track record of developing new business and expanding customer relationships.
  • A degree in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or another related technical field (preferred but not required).

Where You'll Work

The Tri-Cities office, located at 106010 E Wiser Pkwy, Suite B, Kennewick, WA 99338, is perfectly positioned in one of Washington's most vibrant regions. The Tri-Cities offer a variety of recreational activities, including sailing, paddleboarding, waterskiing, swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Additionally, there are exceptional wineries, golf courses, shopping, and concerts in the area.

Pay

$70,000 to $90,000 annually, plus commissions and vehicle compensation. Eligible for ramp-up and performance bonuses.
