Overview
Groundcover is a fast-growing B2D company dedicated to reinventing how developers monitor their cloud-native applications and drive organizational growth. Our mission is to provide developers with the insights needed to troubleshoot efficiently and improve the user experience of complex systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, aiming for at least 3 new meetings per week with decision-makers and influencers.
- Build an account strategy and collaborate with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Solution Architects (SA) to secure initial deals and expand Groundcover's presence across various teams and business units.
- Maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs or issues.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential clients and market trends, collaborating with internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics using the CRM system.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a sales hunter in a SaaS company, focusing on acquiring new logos.
- At least 1 year of experience as a successful BDR/SDR.
- Proven experience operating within the NA/USA market.
- A proven and consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience in selling Log Analytics/Monitoring/APM and Cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
