Primary Responsibilities
- Day-to-day contact for customers: handle inquiries, ensure MDA compliance, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Build and execute customer call plans to increase share of wallet with existing customers.
- Work with specialists and brokers for product ideation and share information with customers.
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses.
- Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
- Maintain activities initiated by FreshPoint CMU HOME team, including updating customer order guides, LTOs, Red Alerts, etc.
- Utilize Sysco 360 for account management, opportunity tracking, task management, and key customer data maintenance.
- Ongoing training in Sysco 360, Tableau Reporting, Penetration Tools, and other relevant software.
Education and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or Culinary Arts preferred.
- 3+ years prior foodservice sales, B2B experience, restaurant management, or culinary background.
- Knowledge of marketing principles, product lines, ordering procedures, and credit terms.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to service multiple customers simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Current on FreshPoint technologies and able to provide the latest information to customers.
- Ability to sell, multitask, and effectively communicate with various departments.
- Problem-solving skills and familiarity with customer service activities.
