Primary Responsibilities
- Account Management: Day-to-day contact for customers, handling inquiries, ensuring MDA compliance, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Build out customer call plans and execute against company expectations to increase share of wallet with existing customers.
- Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers to understand their needs, evaluate market trends, and recommend products.
- Collaborate with specialists and brokers for product ideation and share information and knowledge with customers as part of value-added service.
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses, and provide product information and training to customer personnel.
- Maintain customer order guides, LTOs, Red Alerts, and other activities initiated by FreshPoint CMU HOME team.
- Utilize Sysco 360 for account management, opportunity tracking, task management, and logging key customer data.
- Ongoing training in Sysco 360, Tableau reporting, penetration tools, and other relevant software.
Education and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or Culinary Arts preferred.
- Knowledge of marketing principles, product lines, ordering procedures, and credit terms.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple customers simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Current on FreshPoint technologies and able to effectively communicate and present information to customers.
- Problem-solving abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience with and working knowledge of FreshPoint customers and sales support best practices.
