About the role

The Account Executive role at Expedient is focused on selling IT and cloud solutions to businesses in the Dallas / Fort Worth, TX market. This is a great opportunity for someone with successful B2B technology sales experience, particularly in areas like cloud hosting, cybersecurity, infrastructure-as-a-service, server colocation, and managed backups.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and leading the sales process for new clients, from initial contact to closing deals
  • Growing the sales pipeline through lead generation and forecasting future sales
  • Developing and delivering sales proposals and presentations, collaborating with Solutions Architects
  • Partnering with Lead Generation and Channel Partner teams to convert leads into clients, working closely with Solutions Architects to finalize quotes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technology-based sales experience, specifically in cloud solutions, data centers, hardware, software, and IT services
  • A proven track record of success in hunting and closing new business, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong sales funnel development skills, adept at managing both short and long-term sales cycles
  • Excellent in-person and virtual networking and presentation skills
  • Effective time management and a disciplined selling approach
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales and CRM platforms, as well as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree desired but not required

Skills

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices

Expedient offers a competitive compensation structure, including a base salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, with uncapped commissions. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Pay

Salary for this position is commensurate with experience and historical sales success. Base salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Commissions are uncapped, with an estimated annual earnings range of $200,000 to $300,000 after ramp-up.

Schedule

This is a remote role with occasional travel to other Expedient markets for collaboration and training.
