Account Executive
About the role
The OEM Account Executive is a key member of the Commercial Cold Chain Sales team focused on the food retail refrigeration compression, controls, projects and software services for the OEM market. The position develops, collaborates, and completes sales actions across multiple channels in collaboration with our End User and Aftermarket Sales Teams. The primary role involves managing account activities and delivering sales growth through tactical execution while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision makers at all customers in territory.
- Identify and define sales growth opportunities across Copeland controls, compression, projects, and services products for customers in territory.
- Support strategy development and execute sales for OEM refrigeration customers to lower GWP refrigerant (CO2, R290, A2L) solutions.
- Manage communications both internally and externally to ensure alignment.
- Manage customer profile, contacts, and opportunity funnel within Salesforce CRM platform.
- Travel up to 30%.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or technical field technical education and experience.
- Prior experience in at least one of the following refrigeration areas: Sales, Service, Technical Support, Engineering, Product Management, or Sourcing.
- Knowledge of classic sales to consultative solutions selling.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with both lower-level technical decision makers and executive level financial decision makers.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Sales experience, experience in the Refrigeration, HVAC or Controls Technology, remote work arrangement.
Skills
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and technologies.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
$60,000 - $70,000 per year, plus incentives, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
Schedule
This role is fully remote. As a remote colleague, you may be required to travel to a Copeland site regularly to collaborate with your team or customers as needed.
