Account Executive
About the role
Convergint is seeking a full-time Account Executive to join its dynamic sales team in the Wichita, Kansas area. The ideal candidate will cultivate new relationships, understand customer needs, and secure sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling to dedicated accounts, integrating physical security services, cyber, maintenance programs, managed services, and transformational services to increase customer lifetime value, profitability, and protect against competitive threats.
- Develops and manages sales pipelines, working with decision-makers to assess needs, agree on business cases, and set decision timelines.
- Constructs winning proposals, collaborating with sales teams to ensure quotes, business cases, and unique qualifications are included.
- Presents proposals to decision-makers, addressing objections related to timing, price, and competition, and leading to final negotiations.
- Identifies and develops pipeline-specific opportunities in designated markets such as global accounts, utilities, financial/banking, healthcare, data centers, government sectors, and educational institutions.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts from various departments to create and deliver winning proposals.
- Performs other duties as requested or required.

Requirements
- College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of sales or relevant experience.
