About the role

Convergint is seeking a full-time Account Executive to join its dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will cultivate new relationships, understand customer needs, and secure sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Account Development: Sell to dedicated accounts, integrate physical security services, manage cyber, maintenance, managed services, and transformational services to enhance customer lifetime value.
  • Develop Pipeline: Engage with key decision-makers, assess needs, build business cases, and set decision timelines.
  • Proposal Construction: Lead the sales pursuit team to create compelling proposals, including quotes, business cases, and unique qualifications.
  • Presenting & Closing: Present proposals to decision-makers, address objections, and reach final agreements.
  • Market Focus: Identify and develop pipeline opportunities in specific markets such as global accounts, utilities, finance, healthcare, data centers, government sectors, and education.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Work with designers, estimators, sales engineers, subject matter experts, project managers, and partners to create winning proposals.
  • Perform other duties as requested or required.

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Requirements

  • Education: College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in sales or a related field.
