Account Executive
About the role
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with client companies, building long-term partnerships, and delivering effective sales presentations. You will work collaboratively with a team of recruiters to develop and refer appropriate candidates for open positions while maintaining strong client relationships.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Research the market for new or expanded client opportunities, identifying and pursuing target companies.
- Manage employer and candidate contacts and activities using the proprietary database.
- Deliver polished and effective presentations in person to employers, offering recommendations for engagements, hiring improvements, or candidate suitability.
- Visit client employers regularly, interacting with key personnel to maintain an understanding of their hiring needs and company culture.
- Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers and key personnel at client employers.
- Collaborate with Staffing Consultants to evaluate and identify the best candidates for open positions.
- Maintain regular contact with employers and contractors to ensure client satisfaction and address concerns.
- Carefully coordinate all steps of the hiring process, including employment documentation and background checks.
- Stay informed about market trends, pay rates, and staffing industry practices.
- Work with Staffing Consultants on background checks, education, criminal history, and drug testing for candidates.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated self-motivation through work experience in high school, college, and beyond.
- +3 years of applicable staffing sales experience
- Must be local to Minnesota
- Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team
- Strong time management and analytical skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to receive constructive criticism and translate it into improved performance
Education
Bachelor's degree required.
