Responsibilities
- Support clients with coverage placement, renewals, claims coordination, policy analysis, and ongoing service needs.
- Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to secure optimal coverage terms, pricing, and outcomes.
- Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships, and advising on risk and coverage strategies.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen client engagement.
- Contribute to retention and growth initiatives.
- Assist in identifying coverage gaps, risk exposures, and mitigation strategies.
- Participate in new business opportunities, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Support cross-sell initiatives across lines of business.
- Contribute to process improvements and overall service enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree, minimum of 10 years of related commercial insurance experience, active NYS Property & Casualty (P&C) License.
- PREFERRED: Professional insurance designations or certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU, CRM, ARM).
- Experience with agency management systems such as AMS and ImageRight.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational effectiveness, excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration and teamwork, client-focused approach.
