Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with end users, design/build contractors, mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, large owner accounts, and ESCOs.
- Aid consulting engineers with the design and specifications of control system applications.
- Evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor costs for control system applications based on plans/specifications.
- Collaborate with the Operations Department to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Create technical scope of work proposals and presentations that effectively communicate Albireo Energy’s value proposition.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with customers to identify opportunities and sell Albireo Energy’s capabilities.
- Negotiate final pricing and project scope with contractors and end users.
- Support ongoing new installations and provide sales assistance.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings and training seminars.
- Collaborate with other sales executives to achieve annual revenue and gross margin targets.
- Track sales activities and forecast sales opportunities using a CRM tool.
Qualifications
- Proven success in plan & spec/construction sales.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales in the building automation field (Metasys preferred).
- The ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
- An understanding of building HVAC systems and the application of controls.
- A willingness to use a CRM tool for pipeline and activity management.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent degree with relevant industry experience.
Pay
- The initial base salary range for this position is $75k–$130k.
- The total compensation package includes eligibility for uncapped commissions.
