About the role
AccountMakers has engaged a growing technology organization specializing in cloud infrastructure, connectivity, networking, and managed technology solutions to hire an Account Executive.
Responsibilities
- Possess and generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, and other business development activities.
- Identify customer needs and communicate the value of cloud infrastructure, networking, connectivity, and managed technology solutions.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through consistent prospecting and relationship development.
- Manage sales opportunities throughout the customer journey, from initial discovery conversations through negotiation and close.
- Collaborate with technical, customer success, and operational teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer information within CRM and sales systems.
Requirements
- Experience in business development, account executive, inside sales, account management, or other customer-facing sales roles.
- Experience within cloud infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, internet services, hosting, managed services, SaaS, or related technology environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, relationship building, and lead qualification activities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience managing sales opportunities through multiple stages of the sales cycle and working toward revenue goals.
- Curiosity and willingness to develop expertise in cloud infrastructure, connectivity, and enterprise technology solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and metrics-driven sales environment.

Pay
This permanent position offers a base salary of $90,000–$110,000 plus uncapped commission, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
Schedule
The role is a full-time, remote opportunity for candidates based in the Northern California/San Francisco Bay Area, with regular travel throughout the territory and periodic collaboration with leadership teams in Southern California.
