Account Executive Assistant - Sales
About the role
Harmar is looking for a positive individual to work with our dealer network. The Inside Sales Representative will provide onsite product and procedural training, build opportunities within company systems that lead to new sales orders, and generate revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products.
Responsibilities
- Build accurate quotes based on information received from customers.
- Drive sales of Harmar products by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sales opportunities.
- Convert quotes into orders once approved by the customer.
- Serve as internal sales support for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and goals.
- Manage key accounts, contacting them monthly per the company regimen.
- Call on and create relationships with potential customers or leads to cultivate new business.
- Document any accounts contacted outside of assigned accounts in SFDC and communicate with the territory team.
- Cross-sell products (e.g., Mobility and Access, Access and Mobility).
- Confirm competitive landscape and document customer conversations to identify why Harmar products are not being purchased.
- Provide feedback and input to weekly Territory Manager (TM) calls.
- Incorporate installer visibility into the installer scorecard, particularly the grade, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Follow discount guidelines without exception.
- Respond to ALL customer requests in a timely fashion.
- Maintain an organized and efficient methodology for facilitating customer and internal emails.
- Encourage, build, and nurture relationships with customers to foster growth.
Requirements
- Sales skills, including demonstrated closing skills.
- Prior attendance at formal sales training courses considered a strong plus.
- Organization skills for proper territory planning and management.
- Demonstrated record of achievement in prior sales-related positions preferred.
- Creativity is a plus.
- Excellent verbal, written, and telephone skills supported by strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and with all management levels in a dynamic environment.
- Decision-making ability and creative problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented focus with a creative, assertive, and winning attitude.
- Experience as an Account Executive or Inside Sales Representative.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors and colleagues by telephone, in written form, email, or in person.

Pay
Salary: $18/hour (based on experience) with a quarterly performance-based bonus of $250–$500.
