Account Executive, Agentic Code Review (Gitar.ai)

About the role

The role is part of the Gitar.ai go-to-market team, focusing on sales, pipeline building, and customer engagement for AI code review solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and managing sales demand for standalone AI code review deals.
  • Executing outbound campaigns and managing proof-of-value management.
  • Commercial negotiation and deal closure.
  • Building pipeline and managing active customer engagements.
  • Maintaining rigorous sales process hygiene using sales methodologies and tools.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, including product demos and proofs of concept.
  • Providing input to product teams on the roadmap.
  • Engaging with technical buyers and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle, quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, including 3+ years selling technical products to IT, DevOps, platform engineering, or security buyers.
  • Technical competency to learn Gitar.ai and Sonar’s software solutions.
  • A strong familiarity with modern software development practices, including Git, CI/CD, code review workflows, and SDLC tooling.
  • Customer empathy and a passion for customer success.
  • Energetic about working in a startup environment, with a strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Qualifications

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and willing to work in-person with the team in the San Mateo office.

Skills

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with CRM tools like Clari, Outreach, and Salesforce.
