Responsibilities

  • Sells products to customers in assigned territory.
  • Develops and implements strategies to meet sales and profit targets.
  • Communicates with local brokers and manufacturer representatives to identify sales opportunities.
  • Manages time and resources to cover the entire sales territory.
  • Compares Vistar’s services to those of competitors and recommends appropriate bids and menus.
  • Handles customer complaints and issues, referring them to appropriate internal or external support groups.
  • Uses Vistar’s information system and laptop computer to provide value to customer relationships.
  • Ensures Vistar CRM system is utilized and updated as directed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
  • 2 - 4 Years Foodservice or vending sales experience.
