Responsibilities
- Sells products to customers in assigned territory.
- Develops and implements strategies to meet sales and profit targets.
- Communicates with local brokers and manufacturer representatives to identify sales opportunities.
- Manages time and resources to cover the entire sales territory.
- Compares Vistar’s services to those of competitors and recommends appropriate bids and menus.
- Handles customer complaints and issues, referring them to appropriate internal or external support groups.
- Uses Vistar’s information system and laptop computer to provide value to customer relationships.
- Ensures Vistar CRM system is utilized and updated as directed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- 2 - 4 Years Foodservice or vending sales experience.
