About the role
The Account Director is the “face” of Snow to the client, reporting to the Associate Vice President/Vice President. This person is ultimately responsible for ensuring that clients’ expectations are being exceeded in regard to the specifications outlined in agreed-upon Statements of Work (SOW).
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular meetings with the Account Team
- Maintain close contact with everyone on the team and be aware of all ongoing projects
- Provide support, guidance, and resources as necessary
- Confer with Account Team for internal issue resolutions related to project deliverables
- Review ongoing performance results and identify needs of team members
- Implement coaching or mentoring partnerships as appropriate
- Interview potential team candidates
- Keep VPs apprised of key issues regarding account status
- Manage the workload of the team members assigned to the brand, ensuring that all tactics contained in the SOW are being executed in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure that all team members understand and are involved with key client expectations
- Partner and collaborate with Creative Team (in terms of brand strategy) for development of materials
- Oversee the production and development of marketing materials and procedures for dissemination
- Recommend appropriate policies regarding pricing, promotion, product and market evaluations, and marketing strategies
- Supervise client invoicing and budgeting process
- Analyze profits and losses
- Develop SOWs for clients
- Analyze business developments and consult trade and marketing journals to monitor trends and determine opportunities
- Look for opportunities to “upsell” Snow’s programs and services
- Confer and collaborate with VP to develop strategic recommendations to clients
- Prepare for and attend strategic planning meetings with clients
- Identify, research, and propose new areas for business growth
Requirements
Although your day-to-day work should primarily take place during regular office hours (8:30 AM– 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday), there will be occasions when you are required to work late into the evening and/or over the weekend.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university
- Five–seven years of related experience and/or training preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
