About the role

The Account Development team supports, trains, and coaches customers on NEOGOV's products. They also manage account retention and expansion, coordinating meetings to demonstrate NEOGOV's offerings and working closely with an Account Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize customer support execution and ensure departmental synergy
  • Proactively identify and implement strategies to enhance customer success
  • Work directly with an Account Manager to schedule product demonstrations
  • Resolve simple to moderately complex tasks related to NEOGOV's product suite
  • Conduct Partnership Reviews with current customers to address concerns and explore expansion opportunities
  • Complete product training to deepen understanding of NEOGOV's offerings
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to share product updates and gather feedback
  • Generate excitement for new or developing products and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Find and pursue upsell opportunities based on customer use cases
  • Engage with at-risk customers to resolve concerns and maintain customer loyalty

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with customer accounts
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience with one or more SaaS products
  • Prior technical sales experience is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with various internal teams
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred but not required
