Account Associate
Role Overview
Serve as the main point of contact for external mortgage clients and internal business partners. Support a Relationship Manager and manage assigned client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with clients via phone and email; explain reports and resolve inquiries.
- Handle account setup, maintenance, and oversight per policies and regulations.
- Generate and review reports in Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) to summarize file status for clients.
- Ensure mortgage and collateral files meet client criteria before storage (3 days to 30 years).
- Research and assist Relationship Manager with day-to-day client issues.
- Create certifications, trust receipts, and handle sensitive correspondence.
- Work with internal departments and external vendors as needed.
- Assist with larger projects managed by others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in financial services or professional customer service experience; or a Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience
- 6+ months of experience working within Microsoft Office INCLUDING Excel (vlookups/pivot tables)
- Preferred: 6+ months of experience working in the mortgage industry or working with mortgage documents
