Account Associate
About The Opportunity
A well-established financial services organization is seeking an Account Associate to join its client services team. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy building relationships, working with detailed documentation, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The Account Associate will support client accounts, prepare reports, maintain documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and internal business partners.
- Communicate with clients daily via phone and email to answer questions and resolve issues.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and internal business partners.
- Support account setup, maintenance, and ongoing administrative activities.
- Generate and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel, including data validation and status tracking.
- Review and maintain document files to ensure compliance with client and company requirements.
- Research and assist with issue resolution and account-related inquiries.
- Prepare certifications, receipts, and other confidential business correspondence.
- Partner with internal departments and third-party vendors to meet client expectations.
- Aid in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, banking, insurance, mortgage operations, or a professional customer service environment; or
- Bachelor's degree in lieu of professional experience.
- At least 6 months of experience using Microsoft Office products, including:
- VLOOKUPs
- Pivot Tables
- Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the mortgage industry.
- Experience reviewing, processing, or managing mortgage-related documentation.
- Exposure to financial services operations or document management processes.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
