Accessory Shop Technician - SHV

About the role

SkyWest Airlines is seeking motivated professionals for the role of Accessory Shop Technician. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft components while ensuring flight safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct component servicing in compliance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM), and shop protocols.
• Maintain designated work area by keeping it orderly and hazard-free.
• Ensure tools and support equipment are clean, safe, and operational.
• Wear appropriate eye and ear protection during tool usage or machinery operation.
• Be available to work any shift, including overtime.

Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Eligible to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Demonstrate mechanical experience or aptitude.
• Show strong interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
• Willingness to work any shift, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to chest height, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Consistent and punctual attendance required.
• This is a full-time position.
• This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.
