Accessories Processor

About the role

Sorts, prices, and prepares donated accessories—jewelry, purses, wallets, backpacks, belts, hats, and similar items—for placement in the store.

Responsibilities

• Inspects donated accessories for overall quality and determines disposition based on store manager's direction.
• Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution.
• Prepares accessory items (belts, purses, wallets, jewelry, backpacks, etc.) for the store according to quality and pricing standards.
• Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags, and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and store manager's direction.
• Meets or exceeds production and quality goals and standards.
• Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine.
• Assists in training workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Walking or standing to a significant degree.
• Able to move large boxes, furniture, and other heavy items.
