Mission
The Accessibility, Instruction, and Media (AIM) Specialist supports the Center for Instruction and Program Innovation (IPI) by ensuring digital instructional materials meet ADA Title II accessibility requirements, providing instructional design consultation and support, and developing high-quality digital media for online, hybrid, and technology-enhanced courses.
Responsibilities
- Ensure digital instructional materials meet ADA Title II accessibility requirements
- Provide instructional design consultation and support
- Develop high-quality digital media for online, hybrid, and technology-enhanced courses
- Strengthen campus-wide compliance efforts
- Improve the quality of online learning
- Expand faculty capacity for accessible, innovative teaching
Qualifications
- Understanding of and sensitivity to diversity, inclusion, and equity-minded policies, programs, and practices
- Experience with instructional design and digital media creation
- Knowledge of ADA Title II accessibility standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and academic departments
