About the role

The Accessibility Consultant, ADA & FHA position in Los Angeles, CA is responsible for ensuring compliance with accessibility laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate physical and digital environments for accessibility issues
• Develop and implement strategies to improve accessibility
• Provide training and education to staff and stakeholders
• Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., architecture, urban planning)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accessibility consulting or related field
• Knowledge of ADA, FHA, and other relevant accessibility laws
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Ability to travel up to 25%
