Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing a specific area of the store and managing the general operations and supervision of the store. This position requires a deep understanding of safety, customer service, merchandising, loss prevention, front-end supervision, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes
• Manage the front-end operations, fitting rooms, and administrative duties
• Train and coach associates on various procedures
• Manage work processes and ensure productivity

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop

Qualifications and Special Skills

• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
