Accessibility and Content Editor
Key Responsibilities
- Cook up and edit informational and educational publications, bulletins, powerpoints, pamphlets and other communication materials.
- Correct grammar, spelling and punctuation errors following AP Style guides.
- Fact-check customer content.
- Ensure documents are 508-compliant, readable to the target audience and comply with OMES branding.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Four (4) years of professional experience in journalism/copy editing.
- Experience using remediation software, preferably CommonLook.

Pay
Salary is up to $52,500.00 based on education and experience.
Schedule
Full-time 40-hour work weeks.

Qualifications

Skills
Knowledge of AP Style guides, fact-checking, document compliance, and remediation software.
