You’ll spend your days performing basic maintenance and repairs, assisting with diagnostics and troubleshooting, and learning how to use advanced tools and technology in the shop alongside experienced technicians and mentors who are invested in your success.

RDO Equipment Co. provides an industry‑leading team environment, serving customers in the Red River Valley who do vital work feeding the nation.

Responsibilities

• Learn side‑by‑side with a skilled mentor how to diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service real equipment.
• Document machine details and repair work on service orders, including parts and fluids used.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, caring for tools and machines.
• Assist with basic maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements

• Enrolled in or attending an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or technical service program recognized by RDO Equipment Co.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and solid attendance record.
• Hands‑on experience using mechanical tools.
• Strong computer skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
