Key Responsibilities
- Control and monitor access to secure construction areas and verify badges and authorizations
- Inspect personnel, materials, and equipment in accordance with CSP and Post Orders
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols and document all activity
- Identify, document, and report security incidents, discrepancies, or power loss
- Cookordination with CSTs for delivery inspections and alternative entrance access
- Perform duties in compliance with the SOW, CSP, and Guard Orders
- Ensure only authorized personnel, materials, tools, and vehicles are granted access
- Conduct required inspections and walking patrols to maintain security coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance required
- U.S. Citizen
- Age: 21 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in access control or security for classified facilities or construction sites
- Ability to control access points and screen personnel and materials
- Ability to conduct walking patrols and maintain security presence
- Ability to complete security documentation and reports
- Ability to conduct extended walking patrols
- Familiarity with Construction Security Plans (CSP), incident reporting, and patrol tracking systems
Work Schedule & Conditions
- Standard Schedule: Monday–Sunday
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week across 4–5 days (dependent on shift)
- Overtime: Some overtime available based on client needs
- Flexibility Requirement: Must be available to support weekend shifts on a rotating schedule
Compensation & Benefits
- Rate: $ 27.00 per hour
- Benefits: Health, 401(k), PTO & Sick Leave, and Paid Holidays are available to all W2 employees of IDS
- *Adjusted hourly rates and daily per diem may be available for non-local and/or travel assignments
