Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the access control function in accordance with SD Access Control procedures and signed Work Instructions.
- Ensure an efficient, high-quality badging service.
- Manage the badging function through dynamic interface with departments such as HR, Transport, HSSE, and Asset/Risk Owners for:
- New appointments (where applicable)
- Badge applications (permanent and temporary)
- Categorization and initial survey
- Photo ID, access area, and levels approval
- Provision of badge and stationery
- Testing and briefing
- Handle badge registration, declarations, and administration—both digital and hardcopy (filing, registers, records, and reports).
- Activate and deactivate badges according to procedures.
- Obtain written approval for all exceptions to the rule.
- Capture and archive ID and badge information.
- Perform data analysis, interpretation, and weekly reporting.
- Support the Supervisor in reviewing and developing badging procedures and work instructions.
- Assist the Reception access control function with skills and knowledge when required.
- Manage Phonebook Registration (photos) returns and data submission to ICT.
- Ensure satisfactory performance according to operational objectives and KPIs.
- Plan, request, coordinate, receive, record, control, and safeguard badging equipment, material, supplies, and stationery.
- Maintain a professional and friendly image, upholding high conduct and professionalism with customers.
- Report any incident to the direct supervisor, line manager, or as per established SOPs.
Requirements
- Preferred: Official administration qualification (degree or diploma level) or another relevant qualification/tailored organizational programs/courses.
- Preferred: Qualifications or experience in filing and/or document management systems.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in badging processes and/or business administration, business processes and systems, communication, or basic resourcing.
