Access Control Lead
Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an Access Control Lead to assist security and safety management teams in overseeing the scale house, security patrol, access control operations, and EHS inspections. About the role
This role supports security and safety management by leading access control operations at our Malaga facility on the night shift (9:00 PM – 5:30 AM).
Responsibilities
- Oversee scale house operations and security patrols.
- Manage access control for the facility.
- Conduct Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) inspections.
- Train in safety protocols, including General Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Adhere to and enforce company policies and plant operations.
- Work overtime or Saturdays as needed based on business requirements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, responsible, and dependable with excellent attendance.
- Detail-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company, insurance, and DMV requirements.
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
Pay
$18.25 per hour plus a $0.20 night premium. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market alignment.
