The Access Control Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of Sea Island Resort and the Sea Island community. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Success in this position requires strong communication and customer service skills, sound judgment, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem solving. The successful candidate demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to confidentiality while building positive relationships across departments, exercising strong time management skills, and consistently delivering reliable, high-quality support to both internal and external customers. By maintaining the integrity and accuracy of access control records, you will ensure a seamless and secure experience for all individuals entering the property. You will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to access control. You will be dedicated to overseeing the physical security access control systems, ensuring that all ingress and egress points are secure and efficiently maintained. You are responsible for the meticulous creation, distribution, tracking, and logging of various access passes and decals for contractors, members, residents, vendors, and guests. Additionally, you will facilitate group access for off-property guests, contributing to the overall security and hospitality of Sea Island. Key responsibilities include verifying the identity and credentials of individuals requesting access, coordinating with various departments for events and activities, maintaining and updating the access control database, and assisting with the management of the Sea Island Main Gate as needed. You will also ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to access control. You form effective relationships and work closely with resort departments to maintain rapport and foster open communication. This includes coordination with key stakeholders including the leadership team of each vertical (Spa, Golf, Food and Beverage, etc.). You consistently uphold and ensure compliance with departmental procedures, including standards for safety, quality, timing, attendance, and appearance. You maintain a thorough knowledge of current services, amenities, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area. You are generous with your support and help resolve any service issues that arise in a timely and positive way, following up as needed. You are proactive in aiding when needed and are willing to help with other areas or duties as requested. When needed or requested by leadership, you act to promptly resolve any concerns, coordinating necessary efforts through the appropriate departments and consistently follow-up to ensure resolution.
