Qualifications

We need to separate Master's and Bachelor's? Could combine but we have both sets. Could have subheadings? But only allowed headings are those listed; we could still use

for sections, but we could embed details in

or

. Probably better to have a Qualifications section with bullet lists for each. We'll include Minimum Qualifications for Master's and Bachelor's, and Preferred Qualifications. We can do:

    Qualifications

    Master’s degree track

but h4 not allowed? The instruction only says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but to be safe we can avoid extra headings and just use

    or

      . We'll embed. We'll do:

      Qualifications

      Master’s degree track (minimum):

      • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
      • Licensure in Michigan as LMSW, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist; OR eligibility for limited license and obtain within three months of hire.
      • Thorough working knowledge of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
      • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
      • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
      • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, data entry.
      • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
      • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely under stress.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to work effectively in multicultural settings and bridge language/cultural barriers.

      Preferred (Master’s):

      • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) preferred.
      • Credentialed through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals.
      • Lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders valued.
      Similarly for Bachelor's. We'll include:

      Bachelor’s degree track (minimum):

      • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
      • Licensure in Michigan as licensed or limited licensed bachelor’s social worker; OR eligibility for limited license and obtain within three months of hire.
      • Same knowledge/skill requirements as above (assessment, ethics, driver’s license, stress handling, multitasking, computer skills, fast‑paced environment, communication, multicultural competence).

      Preferred (Bachelor’s):

      • Lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders valued.
      • Full licensure as a licensed bachelor’s social worker in Michigan.
We could avoid repeating the same list; but we need to preserve all substantive info. The posting lists same requirements for both tracks; we could note that they are identical except degree level. We'll capture. Next Skills section: maybe we can pull out skills like computer skills, communication, etc. But we already included in qualifications. Could still have a Skills section summarizing. But we must not create thin sections. Perhaps we can combine qualifications and skills into one section called Requirements or Qualifications. The instruction allows Requirements as a heading. We could use Requirements for the qualifications list, and Skills for abilities like communication, computer skills, etc. However we already listed many skills. Might be okay to have both. But we need to avoid duplication. Let's think: The posting includes "Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles..." that's knowledge; "Ability to handle stressful situations..." that's ability; "Computer skills..." that's skill; "Ability to work in a fast-paced environment." etc. So we could put those under Skills. Simplify: Use Requirements for education/licensure; Skills for abilities. Let's do:

      Requirements

      Education & Licensure:

      • Master’s track: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy; Michigan licensure as LMSW, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist (or eligible for limited license, obtain within 3 months).
      • Bachelor’s track: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work; Michigan licensure as licensed or limited licensed bachelor’s social worker (or eligible for limited license, obtain within 3 months).

      Skills

      • Thorough working knowledge of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
      • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
      • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
      • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Computer proficiency: word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, data entry.
      • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
      • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely under stress.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to work effectively in multicultural settings and bridge language/cultural barriers.
Then Preferred qualifications could be under a separate heading? Could be part of Requirements or Skills but we have content. Maybe we add a

      Preferred Qualifications

but not in allowed list; but we could incorporate into Requirements or Skills as bullet points labeled Preferred. Safer to add a section "Preferred Qualifications" though not in list; but instruction says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but to be safe we could embed preferred qualifications within the relevant sections as notes. We'll embed them as sub-bullets under each. Now Benefits: we have list: Four health insurance plans | 100% employer paid dental and vision insurance plans | 13 paid holidays | Generous PTO | Professional development | Tuition reimbursement | Professional License reimbursement | Defined contribution retirement plan | Employee Assistance program | Life and voluntary life insurance options | Short and Long term disability | Approved site for loan forgiveness (based on position and department): NHSC, STAR Loan Repayment, Behavioral Health Loan Repayment, MI Kids Now Loan Repayment and much more! We'll create Benefits section with ul. Pay: we have compensation for Bachelor’s degree: $26.04 - $34.52; for Master’s degree: $27.49 - $36.44; Additional Compensation: $2 weekend shift differential when scheduled weekends, $100 on-call rotation. We'll create Pay section with p. Schedule: we have full-time, Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pm, occasional weekends, holidays, on-call rotation. We'll create Schedule section. Now About the role we already wrote. We need to ensure we don't include boilerplate like EEO, E-Verify, drug-free workplace, etc. Remove. Also remove lines like "Job interviews are being conducted in person or via the internet." That's maybe substantive? It's about interview process; could be considered minor metadata but maybe we keep? It's not essential to job description; but it's still info. The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." Interview process could be considered application instructions? It's about how interviews are conducted; maybe we can drop as it's not essential to role. Safer to drop. Also "To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed on the job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. For a detailed job description and responsibilities please review the job description." That's boilerplate; drop. Now we need to ensure we preserve all substantive information: compensation, benefits, schedule, responsibilities, qualifications, skills, etc. Let
