Access and Escort Specialist

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties

• Wear appropriate safety equipment in accordance with OSHA standards and required by federal law and designated clothing and footwear.
• Stand / walk for long periods throughout the workday.
• Escort personnel in various environments such as on construction sites, in office space, or on tours.
• Process visitor requests and / or requests for site access.
• Supports limited background investigations through collecting paperwork and fingerprinting.
• Support physical security specialists in conducting basic facility checks, ensure all security standards are in place, and ensure physical security equipment is operational.
• Report suspicious activities to police, guards, or designated FBI officials.
• Create/Issue badges for various sites, restrict or control access to sensitive areas, positively identify authorized personnel through established parameters.
• Operate all associated IT equipment related to responsible tasks.

Clearance Requirement: Top Secret security clearance

Schedule

Primary hours are Monday through Friday generally 8am – 4pm with start and end times varying slightly depending on individual project needs.
