About the role

The Academy Tutor supports students at Melrose Elementary under the same guidelines as an instructional aide.

Requirements

• Completion of high school education.
• Minimum of 48 units of higher education or passing the District’s Proficiency Test (ESSA Instructional Aide Testing) with a score of 70% or higher. Contact Human Resources at 714-985-8410 for testing details.
• Current resume demonstrating the ability to read and write at a level necessary for job performance.

Schedule

• 9.5-month work year (204 paid days).
• 5 days per week, Monday–Friday, 3.95 hours per day (2:03 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.).

Pay

Hourly rate: $19.95 – $24.30 (Range 16).
